I created this website as a personal space for myself and my family — a place to preserve meaningful events, thoughts, stories, and experiences.
The ISO/TC 68 meeting in Rome became exactly such an event for me. On one hand, it was part of my professional work in the field of international financial standards. On the other hand, it was another reminder that Ukraine must be present wherever the future infrastructure of the world is being shaped.
For me, participation in such meetings is not only about ISO 20022, SEPA, or open finance. It is about Ukraine’s right to have its own voice, its own expertise, and its rightful place among the countries building an open, secure, and civilized financial system.
International standards may seem technical from the outside. But in reality, they are about trust, interoperability, resilience, and cooperation. They help financial institutions communicate with each other, support cross-border payments, and build systems that are more transparent, efficient, and reliable.
For Ukraine, this work is especially important today. Our country is defending not only its territory, but also its future — including its place in the international financial, technological, and democratic community. Every professional conversation, every standard, every working group, and every partnership matters.
The meeting in Rome was also about people. It was a pleasure to meet and speak with colleagues from the international ISO/TC 68 community, including Jim Northey, Chair of ISO/TC 68, and other experts who dedicate their work to the development of global financial standards.
I am grateful for the open dialogue, professional cooperation, and support for Ukraine. These meetings remind me that Ukraine is not isolated. We are part of a global community, and our experience, resilience, and expertise matter.
